era edificio con torre destinato alla conservazione ed alla difesa
dei prodotti provenienti dalle terre di proprietà dell’Ospedale
di S. Maria della Scala di Siena. L’azienda accoglie i suoi ospiti
in un prestigioso ed elegante appartamento del castello, arredato
con mobili d’epoca, con vista su una grande vallata e su un giardino
a terrazza ideale per godere di un’atmosfera molto rilassante
e per ammirare i colori delle famose “terre di Siena”. L’azienda
di 50 ha attua colture biologiche (vino e olio).

Die Burg La
Grancia im Zentrum des kleinen mittelalterlichen Ortes Montisi diente
ursprünglich mit seinem Wachturm dem Schutz der umliegenden Grundstücke,
die sich im Besitz des lokalen Adels befanden. Den Gästen steht ein
elegantes, mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtetes Appartement in der Burg
zur Verfügung.Schöner panooramischer Ausblick auf ein ausgedehntes
Tal und den Terrassen-Garten. Sehr entspannende Atmosphäre, geprägt
von den Farben der bekannten “Terre di Siena”. 50 ha landwirtschaftlicher
Betrieb mit biologischem Anbau (Wein und Olivenöl).

Situated in
the center of the small medieval town of Montisi and originally a
defensive building with tower which was supposed to defend the production
of the noble families and later on of the Ospedale di S.Maria della
Scala of Siena. Guests are received in a prestigious and elegant apartment
of the farm, decorated with antique furniture, with lovely view over
a big valley and a terraced garden. Ideal place to enjoy a very relaxing
atmosphere and to admire the colors of the famous “Terre di Siena”.
Pienza (12 kms), Montalcino (20 kms), Siena (50 kms). The 50 hectare
farm uses only biological agriculture methods. Wine and olive oil.
